Foster Care

Supports For Foster Parents

What Sets Us Apart

At Avon Family Foster Services, our  Foster Parents provide foster children with a temporary, supportive and stable environment during a time of need.

The goal of foster parenting is to provide children and youth with a short-term setting that supports their well-being, encourages their growth and nurtures their identities.  While the legal responsibility for the child or youth remains in the care of the child's legal guardian. Foster Parents play an important role in a child or youth’s daily life.
